Lynnette V. Lynn-Horton is founding President and CEO of Lynn A Hand, LLC (LAH).  Lynn-A-Hand specializes in training, life coaching, professional development, employment and supportive services and advocacy consulting.  She is also a motivational speaker, coach, and workshop facilitator with a special interest in advocacy and outreach on behalf of veterans and families for more than 11 years.

In her consultancy role, Ms. Horton creates diversity and inclusion frameworks and allyship is a builder in areas of health equity for persons with intellectual disabilities, unemployed and underemployed veterans, and families.  She also serves as Chaplain of the Capitol Heights Police Department and an advocate to the Town of Capitol Heights while also serving families in need, as well as fighting for community emergencies.

Ms. Horton is a veteran of the United States Air Force where she served actively during “Operation Desert Storm and Operation Desert Shield.”  Upon returning home, she focused her efforts on supporting her fellow veteran’s by providing supportive services and business development coaching.  She has been coined as a “Trauma Interventionist,” and feels born to upset negative habits, mindsets, and pathologies, and works with others to understand and embrace the authenticity of who they are.

She is bi-vocational and serves as a Local Veteran Employment Representative with the Maryland Department of Labor.

She holds a bachelor’s degree of Social Work from Norfolk State University and is also a graduate of Innervisions Institute for Spiritual Development.  

She is the proud mother of two sons, Quintin, and Jordan, the grandmother of four grandchildren, Lennox, London, NiYomi, and Carter, and inspired by a strong circle of beautiful souls called friends.
